Change interpolation curve

Post by Jenk »

I want to change the interpolation on a curve for a layers transparency setting from Bezier to Smooth, selecting the keyframes and changing the interpolation type in dropdown menu in either channels or motion graph is not resulting in the change I would expect. Am I missing a step here? Any hints Thanks?

the dropdown changes the default interp mode. To change specific keyframes, select those and right click and select the mode you want.

If you're using a recent version of Anime Studio, you might also consider using the new Copy Previous Key option. This option effectively allows you to set different interpolation modes per channel. (Well, sort of...it's kinda like how AE always takes the interpolation mode from the previous keyframe on a channel except you can turn it off in ASP if you don't want that.) Just enable Copy Previous Key from the dropdown and directly set the last keyframe for Transparency to Smooth (using right-click).
