(SOLVED) weird layer behaviour

Post by karip »

Hi all,

I've got this weird problem that I'm not able to figure out.

https://www.dropbox.com/s/3bfnbts781yme ... e.zip?dl=0

On frame 0 there is a blue color and I don't seem to be able to pinpoint where it is.

If I select the shape and deactivate the fill, it gives me this.

However, when I preview the animation, the blue color is not visible. But if I render a preview frame, it is.

If somebody has the time to check out the file and tell me what I've missed, I'd be happy!

Thanks!
Kari

EDIT: It has something to do with shape effects, when I disable it from the display quality, the blue layer disappears. It's somewhere in the cache, but I'm not able to clean it.

you have point colour on using the observed colour (blue - x1EA6BD) and strength variously around 1 for each point.

Select all the points and in the Color Point tool - (default shortcut K) press clear and the observed fill will revert it to the expected mauve (x991657)

Whoah, I was trying everything I could think of, but that was the key. Thanks a lot! The behaviour was so weird that it was guiding my problem solving all over the place. But just not there, hah!

Great work, thanks for the help.
