Re: My latest cartoon...9/11 Conspiracy Guy
It was funny, but the presentation was kind of pedestrian. What about moving the viewpoint now and then -- some close-ups of faces, big close-ups of panic-stricken eyes or a finger jabbing the elevator buttons? It was all a bit like a stage performance.
You can't have everything. Where would you put it?
Re: My latest cartoon...9/11 Conspiracy Guy
Thanks for the input, maybe I will consider that next time around...
Re: My latest cartoon...9/11 Conspiracy Guy
Jahnocli's right. However, you can get away with a "stage" performance if there's a lot of good character animation, but with this minimal style you'd need to speed up the pacing a lot (notice how fast South Park is) or you start noticing the lack of full animation.
And NEVER show just a tiny part of the character on the screen (the guy on the left's arm). Zoom in a bit more or just move him.
Lots of potential though.
