Spatial Keyframe Interpolation

Post by Rai López »

What about "Spatial Keyframe Interpolation" for layers path in Main Window or Editing View? In this feature request forum we've talk enought about keyframe bezier interpolation in Time Line, yes... but I've not heard nothing about "Spatial Keyframe Interpolation" in editing view for Layers Movement (actualy interpolation method is the same for both, time and space), and I think that SEPARATED time/space interpolation (like After Effects or any other animation program) is esential for can animate perfectly with the MINIMUM number of keys, that is the best way to animate... What do you think?

Ah! By the way... I've been thinking about how bezier interpolation could be in Moho, and I wonder if "Bezier handles" is in the "line" of Moho program... I'm not sure (because handles let you a total control, yes...) but thinking in Moho (a peculiar program) I think that can control the curvature of the "motion line" between keys in the same way that you control the curvature of the draw points (with something similar to Curvature Tool) could be a good (and intuitive) choice, well, only if you could control curvature independently for INs and OUTs, of course... You'll see, In Time Line,in example, you could pick with mouse just in the left of Key to control "INs", at right to control "OUTs" and just at center of the key to control IN & OUT at a time... Another way could be hold down a certain keyboard keys in combination with this new "Curvature tool" ... Well, it is only an idea to we can study all possible options, if you have another it´ll be nice that you post it here or shut up forever... CIAO!

PD: Well, I only must clarify that I LIKE "Bezier Handles" (very much) and I'll be SO happy if I can see it soon in Moho, but is a good exercise (I think) to raise all the possibilities, that's all... CIAO!2

Hey Ramón,

I added some scripts that might help out here.
You can create a curve and copy to a layer's translation, so you can just draw where you want it to move to.

The scripts and instructions are here:

See: "Copy Selected Curve" and "Paste Curve to Layer Translation" scripts and instructions.

 WOW!!! I was not refering exactly to that in the post above but... this scripts are FANTASTIC!!! :D :D :D ...I've been asking for a seemed feature in Moho long time ago and now becomes true thanks to you! :D You can't imagine how grateful I am for all that work and contribution guy :) ...Seems that this scripts combinated with "Layer Trail" (i.e.) and with the Rotate to Follow Path too can save a lot of time and gets perfect results in the most easy way :), Well, now I'll continue experimenting with they cause is a pleasure! ...THANK YOU!!! :D
