Import psd files for backgrounds and for characters

How do I import layered Photoshop files into Moho debut?
There is a video where they show this happening, but no matter how I save the Photoshop file, it doesn't work. Only comes in as a single file .
I am using Moho debut 12 and Photoshop elements 10 on a Mac

I know there was some confusion a couple of months ago about a promo video that used Pro demo footage to demonstrate Debut. I thought they updated the video to better reflect actual Debut features but maybe this is what you saw?

Anyway, multi-layer PSD support is a Pro feature so you can't do this in Debut.

In Debut, normal import doesn't allow layered PSD.
