Hello all.. Im new to this forum and to Moho im also a newbie in animating altho i really love it.
Im facing a problem, So i have 1 drawing, lets say i put it at frame 1 and at frame 10 i want it to be moved somewhere else, but if i only do that in the keyframes it will automaticlly start moving on its own from 1-10 to the place i set it at keyframe 10. is there a way to freeze it like i can freeze with bones ?
I tried coppying the last keyframe of how it was for example :
i coppied the keyframe of the drawing at 1 and put it at lets say 9 so at 10 it would look as if it's not moving, but teleporting to the new location. but didn't work.
Hope that what im trying to explain makes sense.
If not il try with screenshots.

That really should work. Copying a previous key is what I usually do and the alternative it to right click on the key at 1 and make it a Step frame--this holds the position until the next key frame. I find the former method easier when I'm editing a lot of keyframes for the character but either should work fine. (FYI, it's also possible to stretch a key to hold it...but let's stick to the basics for now.)Munkiuke wrote:I tried coppying the last keyframe of how it was for example :

If copying or Stepping a key isn't working, it's possible that you're copying the wrong keyframe for the item (like maybe rotation when you want translation,) or maybe you have the wrong item selected. For example, maybe you're editing the keyframes for the artwork's points but the motion keyframes are actually on the layer or group.
Make a copy of your scene and delete those keyframes. Do you still see animation? If so, the animated keys are actually in another layer.
If that doesn't help, maybe you could upload the scene?

I don't remember how i fixed it but similar to what you said. i had to copy a buch of stuff. and ummm lets say i want my animation to start from frame 5 till 10 . i copy the previous animation which is at frame 1 to frame 4 and it gives the impresion of teleporting.

Moho sure has a learning curve behind it but once u get around it its so rewarding. i was about to quit. but now i can animate easier then 1st day lol.
