have six cores processor, when i render in anime studio 11, there are only 4 CPU working (as i see on the top when i render animation : CPU1, CPU2, CPU3, CPU4, Video encoding). WHY ? Also my RAM (32 GB) usage is only 4 GB, 28 GB available. WHY?

Hello, sorry for my bad english,
have six cores processor, when i render in anime studio 11, there are only 4 CPU working (as i see on the top when i render animation : CPU1, CPU2, CPU3, CPU4, Video encoding). WHY ? Also my RAM (32 GB) usage is only 4 GB, 28 GB available. WHY?

Because the program is programmed that way.
Rendering is often limited by the memory speed, not by the processor. So using more cores often doesn't help. With 3.4Ghz CPU and 1600MHz Memory the speed is the same with 3 cores or 4 cores.
But it would make sense to make it configurable. Maybe in a future version.
Because it doesn't need more. Ram usage depends on the complexity of the scene.zmija wrote:

Adding RAM only makes the computer faster if there isn't enough.
