Stopping cycles

Post by Jkoseattle »

I have a cycle of a shape moving across the screen. It doesn't start until frame 169 and the cycle is 36 frames long. Eventually, I want the cycle to stop. I can't figure out how to stop a cycle.
Most of the time I'm doing music stuff. Check me out at http://www.jimofseattle.com/music.

whatever keys are in the cycle - add another key for each of the looping channels where you want it to stop

Yes, any key after the last frame will stop the cycle.

If you wish to end a walk or run cycle, here's a tip: press Ctrl-F where you wish to end the cycle. This creates a keyframe for the entire character at that frame and gives you a starting point to ease out of the cycle animation.
