(OK THIS one is not user error...)
Creating a new text layer always crashes Moho. Also, choosing the text tool in any kind of layer. Simple as that. Happens on multiple machines. Anyone else experiencing this?

Make sure that you don't have a lot of fonts on your system. 200 or more can cause issues.

I'm assuming windows. There is a system file holding them. Keep the ones you like, up to about 50 and them move the others to another folder name something like 'Extra fonts'.
This might not work, but it's worth a try.
