How do i make a PNG file fade?

Post by ilovelessons »

Hi,

I am using Moho 12 Pro and I have a PNG file at frame zero but I need it to fade to nothing at frame 100 using the Opacity setting on the layer. Let me explain more.

On frame 1 the Opacity setting is on 100% and at frame 100 I set the Opacity to 0%. However when I do this all the frames from 1 to 100 are changed to 0 %. How do I get the PNG to fade from 100% to 0%.

What am doing wrong? Any Suggestions?

Double click on the layer.

In layer settings make sure that 'Allow animate layer effects' is checked.

In opacity change the number from '100 Full' to '0 invisible' or any percentage between. Make sure that your not using step for interpolation.

Dueyfly,

Thank you very much it worked mate. One more questions, the fade shows and works perfect in Moho. However when I export it as an FBX file in unity the fade does not show. Any suggestions.

Thanks again

No, I haven't got a clue for fbx.

But I think that you could export a image sequence and then put it into a animated sprite.

Probably have to do any fade in Unity (or whatever you're using the FBX in). http://answers.unity3d.com/questions/10 ... unity.html
