removing a stroke from a line...

Another novice question to throw out there, what is the best way to remove a stroke from a line that is already drawn and reduce it to the blue line with the points on it? I want to remove the tapered lines and replace them with solid line. Using moho 12 I haven't found a way, tried using fill (stroke only) but I can't set the line width to zero (0.25 min.). , just unable to figure it out... any solutions??...

There are three edge tools.

One lets you adjust the thickness, one deletes the edge and one lets you hide them.
