Great use of point colours Troy.

Yeah, colored points as contour highlights is a great idea.

That looks awesome!
I need to try that. I don't think I've done anything with colored points yet.

Thank you.
Re: Experimenting with illustration in Moho.
Coloured points are great , I used them a fair bit in 'Tern Tale', the clouds in particular may look like bitmap but are in fact Moho shapes with soft edges and coloured points.
I remember my excitement when they were announced in 2015 I did a quick test which proved them to have massive potential which I really haven't exploited enough.

Chucky.
Are you able to share that raindrop file? I am familiar with the principal of using point colors but really would like to see a file from a user to see of they are layering the color points or including all color points in the original vector object.
Cheers

pretty simple, 3 layers, no bones all point colours

Thanks Chucky.
I had thought previous that the points needed to be part of the connected mesh to use color points but you use are floating color points as part of the object in that example. Possibilities are endless.

Re: Experimenting with illustration in Moho.
Would you please explain this a bit more I can add color to points in a oval but when I add a point in the center it won't work. How does it work maybe I don't understand floating points.DK wrote:Thanks Chucky.

Re: Experimenting with illustration in Moho.
For the coloured points to blend, the points in question have to all be part of the same shape.
If you add new points to an existing shape, you will first have to delete the shapes (not the points), then recreate the shape with all the points you want to use selected.
Then you use the coloured points tool to add a colour to the points ( that includes transparent colours.
I would have thought using freehand merge strokes would help to prevent remake shapes , but it doesn't... That's the only way Uncle808

That's pretty cool! I never considered coloring interior points. This opens up some interesting possibilities. (As you guys have obviously shown in the above examples.)
Thanks for the info, Chucky!
