Cut one shape in two and close the edges

Hello,
I have a shape, which I want to cut in the middle. Already did "delete edge" now I have two shapes without fill color...I want to close the open edge to have two seperate shapes with fill.
I couldn't find a usable tool?

How do I close the edge again? I have two points, I simply need a tool "connect points".

The Add Points tool will do that. Make sure autoweld is on. Hover the cursor over the first point until the point turns green - click and drag to the second point until that turns green then mouse up. You may need to sort out curvatures / Bezier handles...
