Hi there. First of all sorry for my english. I have a character, have a body with head and hair, all is working and bones working great, but there is one problem.
To make hair layer be on head and be sync with it I moved it's image layer and smart mesh to body's bone layer, so now hair is glued to head, that good, now I don't have to making it sync with head in timeline, but there is big problem: when some of head bones moving the hair is moving too, so I cant anime it properly. Making a different bones layer for hair don't help, because it's in body's bone layer. How to make it sync with head but mesh and bones make not sync with head's bones and mesh. Thanks a lot guys!
Please help with Influence by other bones

Re: Please help with Influence by other bones
ok I think I get what you're saying.
am I right in understanding that you have
Bones layer
>hair image
>hair smart mesh
>head
if so, one approach is
Bones layer
>Hair Group -- LAYER BIND this layer to the main bone in the head.
>>hair image
>>hair smart mesh
>head
The Hair group can be a bone layer if you wish to use bones rather than point motion for the mesh.
If that's not your set-up then please say … and maybe upload enough of the problem file to help solve this?
