Smart action limb movements
So I've rigged up a character and am trying to add smart bone actions for the arm, with other characters I've broken the arm into 2 layers, (top half of arm, and fore arm,) and avoided this issue. I wanted to make the arm one piece tho and bend 180 degrees over itself . When I do that the space where the shape overlaps itself becomes see through exposing the layer beneath it. Is there a way to have the lower arm cover the upper half of the arm once its folded? I feel like this should be a simple fix but I'm completely stumped,

Re: Smart action limb movements
on one layer make two shapes just as though they were on two separate layers, and point-bind them to the relevant bone

Thank you very much , I'll have to watch a video on point binding but that definitely makes sense to me now. Much appreciated
