the main menu bar flashes when you click on a menu and / or change menu

Hi,

Title bar blinks when click on menu or change menu.



I have not found solution on forums or web.

I liked more Anime Studio 10 interface. Since I bought Moho, I don't use it because this flashing bar is very inconvenient for eyes !

Has anybody occur this problem too ?

Is your graphics driver very old?

I never ever noticed before - but when I hold and roll over the menu items the title text does flicker.

The only other thing I see is your title bar seems dark and should normally be white. Have you changed your theme? It might be flashing to white and back. If your theme had a white title bar background - the flashing would probably not be noticeable.

On my computer, that bar also flashes when I do the same you do in the video. I never noticed because my bar is already white, so the flashing is very hard to see. I suspect you may have a different windows theme, and maybe Moho was designed with the default theme in mind and they didn't noticed that flashing effect. Try changing that bar to white and see if it improves.

Edit: SimplSam said it while I was writing so this is almost a duplicate now haha.

Fixed the problem by uncheck this option for Windows appearence !
This is contrast color mode for titles bars and windows borders.

Now, stay white.

Win 10 - Moho 12.5 and 13 -- Happens here too -- only noticeable if I select "use accent colour for title bars and windows borders" but not _every_ time I move the mouse across different menus.

Yes, I don't understand why it only occur with Moho and no other programs.

With unchecked contrast option, some confusion when windows overlap others.

Then need check " shadow under windows " in control panel effects of Windows to discern borders...

That's interesting. Mine flashes too, but I never noticed this before because my title bar is white (by default). What I do see is the black text blinking, it's just not nearly as distracting as the entire bar flashing like in the video.

You know what, I actually do get the flashing bar sometimes also, but it is random and I have to really drag and wiggle the cursor around the menus to get it to happen.

Same here, even with a non-white theme.

I suppose you all are using the Windows version ?

Maybe it is not really a bug, but it can be uncomfortable.

I will try to assign more shortcuts to use keyboard instead
menus.

I'm on Win10 here.

I just now looked at this again. The text flicker I described isn't noticeable under normal use. I have to aggressively move the mouse back and forth quickly to see the flickering. When I used the mouse normally, I don't see the flicker at all.

Have you tried updating your video driver?

Having an under powered graphics card or integrated graphics is likely the culprit in this being very noticeable.
