copy-paste keyframes in a layer including sublayers

Post by kasjorg »

Is it really true - if I want my character to go to the same pose as in an earlier frame - do I really have to copy-paste all the keyframes from all the channels in all the sublayers?? Is there no way around this -I have been trying some of the scripts but can´t find anything that will do this simple thing that will make my life so very much easier!!

If you go to the "Animation" menu and choose "Copy current frame" (assuming that you are currently on the frame that you want to copy all the keyframes from, you can then either copy all of the keyframe types ("Copy entire document") or individual keyframe types, to another location in your document. I think this is what you want.

Hope this helps,

hmmm , -yes something like that. Now my character is set up by vectorlayers under switchlayers under boneslayers under grouplayers! So - if I want to copy-paste the animation only for that character -or part of him, -is there any way of selecting the highest laying layer of the character and copying the keys including the sublayers and the different channels of them? -Guess it would be something like those scripts where I can choose "starting with current layer" (I actually always get an error when using those!) but something like that!
