make a person talk?

Post by Avalanche941 »

I can't seem to get my character to talk....Using switch layers, I made two mouth shapes, one open, one closed. How do I get the two to switch back and forth? Its called a switch layer, but I can't get the images to switch!

Sincerely, Ava'

Here's a rather old tutorial. It was made for Moho 3.5, so the screenshots are somewhat out-of-date. However, most of the instructions should still be valid.

In summary: set the time on the Timeline, right-click the parent switch layer in the Layers window and select a switch sub-layer, which sets a switch keyframe for you.

These days, you would probably use Papagayo rather than Magpie or PAMELA for creating automated lipsynch data.

Regards, Myles.

Thanks! My characters aren't unable to speak now!
