Ok, this is funny, but here's some kind of official answer
We haven't started the preparation for a new version yet. Of course, we have many ideas, notes and a lot of feedback, but for now we are focused in the current version and the many things related to it. Actually, we are excited to see what amazing rigs and animation people can create with the new features. There are always people using the tools in ways we never expected and I'm sure Vitruvian Bones and Quad meshes will open many new possibilities.
The idea of changing the way versions are numbered is something we haven't even considered so far, so probably '14' is the decision we will take. But again, this is something we will have to think about in the future

To be serious for a moment, IMO calling it Moho 14 is fine. I would rather have you guys working those gray cells for something more important, like continuing to make Moho even better and more stable.

I've never been a fan of using the year in a product name, as is literally dates the product out of fashion. For example, after 13.0 came out, many Moho users continued to use 12.5...which doesn't sound that bad because it's just one version behind, right? But what if Moho 12 had been named Moho 2016? For new users considering Moho in 2021, the name is probably not so appealing.

The names Moho 12.5, 13.0, 13.5, on the other hand have been timeless. Better for long-term marketing I think.

So, yes, please stick with the version numbering.

Now, back to nonsense...

Which is probably why a lot of software companies use the year, so when a new version comes out you feel more like getting the latest. Who wants to work on 2017 when 2021 is out. That said ...( and I wish I hadn't, ) I'd like Moho 14 as well
