Shape bug???
I am keeping gradient in eyes but something white is coming while turning the head please check anybody and tell me how can I fix that??
For left side is okay but
Whenever turning on the right side for smart bone dial "face turn L /R2"
A white thing is appearing in eyes around 30 or so key frame and onwards.
Here's the link of image of the error in talking about (sorry i don't know how to upload a image here in post) :

Here's the file: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1txO_hf ... p=drivesdk

Re: Shape bug???
I haven't looked at the file yet but does this error appear in a final render?
The first thing I think of when I see something like this is that masking doesn't always display correctly in the workspace preview but it may render correctly. In some cases, you can correct this in the workspace by simply disabling GPU Acceleration.
Otherwise, if it renders fine, I just ignore what I see in the preview unless is actually affects my ability to animate it. If it does affect my ability to animate, then I will set up my layers differently. One 'obvious' way it to make two versions of the layer, one that renders correctly for the workspace preview but doesn't render final, and one that renders correctly for the final render but isn't visible in the workspace.
Of course, if it's not rendering correctly, then you can ignore the above suggestions. If I have time this morning, I'll take a look at the file and let you know if I see something.

Hi,
I downloaded the file and, yes, I see the gradient seems to be slipping or otherwise changing. Will look for what's happening in a minute.

Re: Shape bug???
Thanks for taking out your time for me...

I hope you will find something to debug this.

Re: Shape bug???
Wow, this is a weird one. I disabled visibility for all layers outside of the face group to make it easier to see what's going on. (Edit: Also disabled everything in the face group except Right Eye and Face...I think this is all that's needed to troubleshoot.)
I think it has something to do with the masking or style. If I disable Allow Transparency in the pupil, it reviews a yellow/gold color, so maybe that's a clue? I'm looking at this from inside the head turn action, and the error is visible in there, so it's probably not an Actions conflict. I thought maybe it was a deformation from a bone but it doesn't look like you're using bones in the face at all, just point and layer animation.
If I have time, I'll look a little deeper later today.

Re: Shape bug???
It seems to be related to a hair bone? When one of the hair bones wiggles, I see its affect on the shape in the eye. So maybe the eye shape or something involved with masking the eye is bound or otherwise being influenced by the hair bone. I would try moving the hair bone next to see if this this is the case.
Sorry, that's all I can do for now...have to start work. Will look at this again when I'm on my own time.
Update: I checked the bone before quitting. It seems to be related to bone B46 or one of its child bones. When I move it, the shape moves out of the eye area. I would look there for the problem.

Re: Shape bug???
yeah -- having systematically stripped the file down by shapes (and the "bug" persisted) I deleted all the hair bones and the eye gradient works as expected ... I haven't tracked it down to which bone(s) yet...
[edit] - there's a bone or two in there which is not at zero strength ... select all bones and set strength to 0 - that seems to fix it ...
[edit 2] ... and as Dennis says - it's the B46/47 chain -- those are the ones to set to zero strength

Yeah yeah reducing strength to zero worked just as expected.

Re: Shape bug???
Shape effects are always affected by bone strength, even if you've released the layer and points.

Re: Shape bug???
If I'd seen this sooner, I could have saved some time, as I knew the problem right away, just from the OP description. But always good when others can sort it out in the meantime.
