Layer opacity doesn't work for gradient fills?
I was just doodling I drew a closed shape had a grey color, I set the layer to 50% opacity and that's what I got, I then decided to give it a gradient fill and it's now opaque? I know I can change the transparency to 50% for each color but I was still expecting this to work. I got the same in 12.5 as well. As I said I was just doodling never came up before not a big deal. It does work for all the other effects.

Just one of those things that only displays correctly when rendered.

Not sure what I did but it wasn't rendering with transparency either. I saw your comment and decided to try it again now it's good. All I can think is it was such a simple image when I rendered without I never closed the render screen???
but all is well...maybe not with me
, but the program is fine
