I made a mistake I have a character with a cap and wanted it to rotate up and down over the head as he ran so I added a SB to do this. I've had the character awhile so I decided to add different looks and added a baseball cap by copying and pasting the cap in a new layer as a switch and just adjusted the points and color ( can you see where this is going ) So, now when I move the SB the cap changes back into the original shape. Is there an easy way to break the connection to the points for the SB. My only thought for this was to copy the new cap into a new file and import it back in. Any ideas?
Sorry had to edit this I just realized it was SBA on a bone not a SBD

Re: Smart bone on switch layers
Just go into the SBA, find the point motion you don't want, and delete those keyframes.

Re: Smart bone on switch layers
Thank you, I got it working. I was afraid to delete it at first thinking it would change the other one as well. I saw just that layer highlighted so I removed the key frames, both are working fine as expected.
