Re: Sub-divide mesh
I would love to play with that EPS - if you can share? My path to Moho for EPS/AI/PDF files is usually via Affinity. So would love to see what it can do with it.

Sure, and thanks for checking it out. I'll post the file here when I break for lunch.

Re: Sub-divide mesh
Ok, I thought something like this existing inside Moho...

Auto Weld is a menu script under Draw. It sounds like this should work for the Adobe Illustrator art that came in with all polygons separated. I tried it and it seems to work, at least for joining all the polygons.
But after running Fill Quad Mesh on it, the result was still not a valid mesh for some reason. Something else is going on with this shape.
Sorry, still no time to post the test files but will do so after work.
Tonight I'm going to try sending the flattened cone mesh from LightWave to AI and then back to Moho again, and then run this script on it if necessary. Technically, I've already done that but at this point I'm not confident I didn't do something else to the vectors along the way.

Re: Sub-divide mesh
Naw, I think the Auto Weld script may be broken. I imported the AI file and it's not working on this shape at all...after selecting the points and running the script, the polygons are still separate. Even when I select only one interior corner (4 points) or an outer corner (2 points), the script fails to do anything with them.
The Transform Points tool's regular Auto Weld works if I nudge a point and hit enter, but I don't really want to do this for all 145 points in the shape.
Edit: I see this is a LM script. Will report it later this evening.
