Adjusting the starting point of a smartbone

Post by MrMiracle77 »

I have a figure with a 180 degree smartbone that transitions it from shape A to shape B to shape C. I did it this way because shape A needs to be very symmetric. However, the default starting pose of the figure is better suited to shape B. Is there a way to change the default starting position of the smartbone?

Yes you only need to use the transform bone tool at frame 0 to change its starting position. When you have the bone selected and you pick the transform bone tool, you can take a look at the number that appears as the angle of the bone (up, on the tool settings bar) and write the angle you desire there to be precise.

I'll try that out when I get home. Thank you.
