AS11 Red Dot on Layer

Hi all,
I am still currently using Anime Studio 11 and have recently had trouble with an action not working correctly in the "mainline" mode. I've identified a small red dot on the layer in question that is present in mainline mode but not in the action mode. I've had a look in the user manual and can't find anything that talks about a red dot but i did find some relevant info online. However this online info didn't reveal any answers as to how to remove it. I want to remove this red dot so my action works correctly. Sorry if this has an obvious solution. Many thanks

The red dot refers to things that effect how that layer may or may not be exportable as an swf ( if I remember correctly, it's been a minute since I've thought about that).
I don't think it has any bearing on your actions.

Hi,

How exactly is the action not working? I'm assuming you mean a Smart Bone action. If it's not doing anything on the Mainline, you might have unintended keyframes in the action that are locking it. If it's not animating as expected, it could be in conflict with another Smart Bone action. Or, it could be any number of things. It's probably fixable but we'll need more info to make any useful suggestions.

Chucky is right, that red dot just means the layer is optimized for swf export. It has nothing to do with actions, so you must be having some other problem. If you can describe it, or share a file, we can help with that.

Thank you all for your help and allowing me to understand what the red dot is, I also figured out why my smart bones were not working so all sorted. Thanks again and I will also be donating to you all if i can find a way to
