Moho pay in 4 financing comment

Post by madrobot »

Hi All (nice to see some names from 10+ years ago when I was frequenting this forum regularly). Interested in getting back into Moho I went to get on board with the 40% off special over the black friday sale - but the pay in 4 only works if your credit card has a US address. I find this surprising as Lost Marble staff and owners are from and living all over the globe! I get it, finance probably thru a US service, but still - those of us outside US unable to access this financing option. Ironically, if you could pay via Paypal, pay in 4 would be an option for all! I now it's guache to talk about money, and I am not complaining (well, not much) however it is a barrier to me picking up a license and I may well not be alone.

Uh, there does appear to be a PayPal option at checkout. Don't know if that helps or not.

Welcome back Adrian.

Thanks Wes, nice to "see" you!
I think from memory it has Paypal option but no pay in 4 in paypal? Anyway I am overcomplicating an uninteresting topic now, thanks for your patience.

How about, make for easy payments to yourself, then buy Moho in one go?

I also offer good finance options... very low interest.

I just had a flash of inspiration, ran thru the purchase page in an incognito window and it brought up Paypal as an option and I had access to pay in 4. Which is wonderful and heartbreaking at the same time, as I missed the 40% sale and subsequent 20% sale!! DOH!
Lost Marble friendship team, Please let me know if there are any further sales on the horizon?

a) You are making assumptions about my capacity to achieve very basic financial management tasks
b) I need both kneecaps and all the friendship I can maintain

The Pay in 4 is also a bit weird, as the installment period is every 2 weeks. So it might feel more like Pay in 2.

If you do use PayPal - then you can normally use PayPal Credit (4 months interest free) or their new Pay in 3 to spread the load (both finance fee free - assuming you pay on time).

If it is not presented during PayPal checkout, you may need to log into your account via the PayPal website and apply for it.

Thanks Sam, I do appreciate your input on this. Sadly it appears PayPal credit is no longer a thing :/
