i am currently finishing a project and working on the final scenes rn. In this scene I used one of the particle sets from the content library and modified it so that it looks like yarn is coming out of the wall, since i am pretty bad at doing particles myself. Everything looks fine when viewed through the editor, but when rendering or previewing none of the particles will show up. I thought i missed something obvious but I can't tell what the problem is
(EDIT: I just realized that it wont show up when playing in the editor either, it will only display it correctly when stopping and dragging the cursor in the timeline. Now i'm even more confused)
First, the blend mode of "top waterfall mask group" and "waterfall shimmers 2" are set to Linear Dodge. That's why it's not rendering.
But once it is rendering, the particles are just white. This is because "waterfall shimmers 2" has Colorize Layer enabled and set to white.
As far as showing while playing the timeline, for some reason it only shows when both characters are hidden.

Thanks a bunch for your help, i totally missed checking the blend modes or how the waterfall looks when rendered... i would have noticed that it was some setting if i did the latter. i had experienced particles just glitching out and weirdly flickering in the past, so i just assumed that it was a problem like this.
