No more notifications ?

No more notifications will be sent until you visit the topic.
This statement is in every notification from lost marble, it used to be true.
Is anyone else getting bombarded with every reply to a post, rather than what the above statement suggests?

Is there a workaround other than unsubbing?

User Control Panel > Board Preferences > Edit Notification Options

That doesn't do it. :(
The email still says that I won't receive any more til I visit, same as always , the only difference is that it doesn't actually stop sending emails.
Control panel has no setting to change that particular feature anyway. :?
