I would like to see a line tool like the one grease pencil has. With a tool like this, cleaning up a character and building artwork would go like 10 times faster (plus a proper fill tool that doesn't mess up your points).

We need or want Moho to import vector layers like the Psd format without fusing the vector into 1
Also make pen tool , must export layers at frame zero
Create deformers that can be applied on the armature rig...combine bitmap with vector...

I'd love if it was possible to keep windows docked to one another with tabs, like the way the style and actions windows are when docked, but keep them floating, undocked from the general interface. I was even thinking of making a post about this on the feature request.

Isn't that exactly the Bezier curve, though Joel?JoelMayer wrote: ↑Thu Mar 10, 2022 9:41 pm I would like to see a line tool like the one grease pencil has. Re: When will we see Moho 14?
I just looked at the video and I agree with Chucky: what's demonstrated in it is basically Moho's Add Points with Bezier enabled, and it's more or less how I draw now in Moho. It could use some improvements (still want separate inside/outside strokes) but IMO the current Add Points/Bezier tools actually works quite well in Moho.
I do wish to see improvements made to Moho's Freehand/Blob Brush tool. From time to time, I come back to these tools to see if I can make them behave for FBF layer animation, only to get frustrated with fixing too many path and point errors.

It is in it's functionality but ain't in it's usability i guess but you're right, it's probably the same thing in essencechucky wrote: ↑Sun Apr 10, 2022 11:54 amIsn't that exactly the Bezier curve, though Joel?JoelMayer wrote: ↑Thu Mar 10, 2022 9:41 pm I would like to see a line tool like the one grease pencil has. What i like about it is just how quick it is to clean something up with just curving lines intuitively instead of setting point, trying to grab a handle, kinda adjusting the curve and so on.
Re: When will we see Moho 14?
Yeah, I see what you mean...in Moho, I have to switch tools frequently to get the same functionality. For example, I need to keep switching between Add Point and U/Enter to apply strokes for open paths. It would be nice to get a few more options in Add Points to automate these steps.
Normally, I draw all my curves first and then apply the strokes and fills. This workflow can go quickly because I'm used to working this way, but I agree, it can certainly be improved.

Re: When will we see Moho 14?
I think if vector drawing would be invented TODAY without the legacy of Illustrator and other apps, it would look really really different usability wise and, even though i've tried Grease Pencil and found it a big headache to work with, i commend them to challenge some status quo's and trying to make a vector-type workflow more artistic rather than technical.
Blender really hammers their main feature home that it's all about "sculpting lines", which is probably their main unique sales proposition. In theory, I find this quite a good idea.
In the same vein, i find this approach by this start-up who are now developing their illustration app and plan to make an animation counterpart to it later on that features "automatic" inbetweening quite intriguing as well:
In my mind, it would be cool if we could basically have some sort of modern 3D workflow adapted to 2D:
Draw with a freehand tool and make a mess with a lot of points and then "retopologize" our drawings speedy and easily after the fact. Same as 3D sculpting and then retopology afterwards.
