3d creator for old pc?
sorry if my english is very very bad but I am french and I'm 14 years old!
Try Wings 3D. It's freeware and I've seen some amazing stuff done with it. Personally, I use Silo 3D, but it is Shareware.
You can find Wings at http://www.wings3d.com/.

c'est vraiment plutot genial aussi. Mais bon c'est personel.
There are also excellent modelers (vertex/polygon, spline, metaballs, terrain, text,...) in Carrara and Carrara Studio 3 is below $40 at thebest3d.com - liquidation sale

oh and then there's the successor to Amapi, at least to Amapi Designer and prior versions, i.e. without the Nurbs features, but with great subdivision modeling, curve based tools and oh-so-sweet direct painting of textures, bump maps and displacement maps, in Hexagon 2. It is now owned by DAZ. If you have the DAZ Platinum Club membership you can get Hexagon for $1.99 (no typo) and otherwise it's around $250 or so. It's something between Silo and Modo price-wise. Feature-wise it totally rocks
