The Vectors Tab And Bones...

Post by BrianLucas »

Hi guys,
I"ve just noticed that the VECTORS settings (the ones to simulate noisy outlines) don't work when the character has bones.
Any light on that will be appreciated.
Thanks

Those effects are normally visible when you render a frame or export the animation.

Thanks, Victor.
You're right. Besides, I was using too mild parameters. Now it's working great!

If you're not seeing the effect in the workspace, try disabling GPU Acceleration in Display Options. Some effects, like Noisy Outlines, only appear in the workspace when GPU is enabled and others only appear when it's disabled. Also note that Noisy Outlines is only visible in the Viewport when you step through the animation with the arrow keys but not while playing or scrubbing the timeline.

If you have GPU Acceleration enabled, as Victor mentioned, you will need to render a frame to see this effect. When in doubt, always check the render...some effects only appear in a render.
