Minor issue: Rendered Note Layers are tiny

I occasionally use Note Layers as Todo annotations. I noticed that when Note Layers (which look OK during Edit) are rendered they are so small - they are almost invisible.

That's interesting. I use Note layers often but I never render them, so I probably never would have noticed this issue.

Anyway, I disabled Enable Note Layer Scaling in Preferences and this seemed to render the layer at its normal size. Unfortunately, the text is still not legible...I see is a gray box with white text which looks faint against the gray. FWIW, I see the same thing in Moho 12.5. My guess is that Note layer wasn't meant to be used this way but I can ask about that to be sure.

I'm guessing a Text layer will work better for rendering because it has more options and was certainly designed for it.

Good call. I see equal scaling behaviour in 12.5 (with Note scaling set), and scaling was set in my 13.5 setup.
