Reference videos

Does anyone know of a good source where I can find reference videos? It would be immensely useful to me. Thanks.

I use YouTube. There's a free utility called 4K Video Downloader which lets you paste in the video's URL and download the video as an MP4 or MKV. I find this is a great way to get visual reference for all kinds of things. So long as you're not re-publishing the downloaded footage, and you're using it only for personal study, it should be legally ok.

MP4 isn't necessarily ideal if you want to step through the video frame by frame. When I need that, I'll output the MP4 to either a PNG or JPG image sequence, and then play it through DJV.

For video ref you want to bring into Moho, I suggest importing a low quality JPG image sequence. This format streams well even across a network, and steps with exact single fame accuracy.

Hope this helps.

This guy does videos like; 100 ways to walk, 50 ways to fall, 50 ways to walk into a room etc. haven't been there in awhile but should give you lots of reference.

Awesome footage!

My child Sienna showed me some of Parry's animation before but I didn't realize how much great reference material he had on his channel.

Thanks for sharing that SuperSGL!
