Hi guys,
since the last update I'm not longer able to move, enlarge or turn the layer with the layer tool in zero frame anymore. I guess, I could use the transfer tool instead. But I find it more convenient to use the layer tool.
Any ideas how to get the functionality back into the layer tool (in zero frame)?
Thanks a lot!
PS: When I cut and paste from one layer into another, the object moves automatically to default position (x=0; y=0; z=0). This makes a lot annoying repositioning necessary! 'Auto center new layer' is switched off. Is there a way to change that?

Are you saying the Transform Layer tool has stopped working for you at frame zero? Does it work in later frames?
Is it not working in a particular Moho project or is this broken in every Moho project, including new ones?
If you're seeing the problem in one particular project but not in others, can you upload it? This doesn't need to be the entire project file...you can strip it down to only the essentials that demonstrate the problem.
If the Transform Layer tool is behaving this way with every project, I'm guessing the tool script is either corrupt or you're running a modified Transform Layer tool that got broken with the recent Moho update. If it's the latter, try removing the mod from you Custom Content folder. If it's the former, you may need to remove and re-install Moho using the latest installer.
Actually, try moving the contents of the Script folder from your Content folder to a folder called 'Disabled'. This folder can be inside your Script folder. Doing this will prevent Moho from loading any third party tools and mods when you launch Moho. Is the problem still present after you do this? If not, then the problem is probably with one of your scripts. Try moving your tools back into Scripts from Disabled, one at a time and see if you can isolate which script is causing the problem.
If the problem is still there even after you disabled all your third party scripts, then I suspect something in Moho got corrupted. Reinstalling is probably the easiest fix for this.
If you decided to uninstall and reinstall Moho, it's a good idea to deactivate the license before you uninstall it and then reactivate it after reinstalling. This is not normally necessary (the uninstaller shouldn't remove the activation,) but it's probably a good idea since something unusual is going on here.
If the problem persists, you may need to purge the program's settings files. But for now don't worry about that, try the above first.
Regarding using Transform Points in place of Transform Layer, I would definitely fix the above first...these two tools do completely different things in Moho, and one isn't a replacement for the other.
Good luck!
