Is there a select layer by shape script?

Sorry, I re-read your post, thought some more about this, and then realized my response was not what you're asking about. For example, when two shapes definitely have stroke shapes, and one is enabled and the other disabled, you are correct, the enabled/disabled property of the first shape does not copy over to the other shape. The color and texture properties do transfer but you have to manually enable the stroke to see it.

I'm not sure that's a good thing or bad thing, but I guess it's not something that's normally interfered with my work.
