Timeline shortcuts

Post by lucasfranca »

Guys, maybe you can help me with something. Natively, the timeline zoom hotkeys are these:

But they don't work for me! I even tried changing them, but they don't work either. Is there a problem in my Moho will be?

That's a good catch. I tried the shortcuts and they don't seem to do anything here either.

FWIW, I normally use the zoom buttons on the timeline since they're always visible and easy enough to click on with a stylus or mouse. I haven't heard about this before so I'm guessing most users are not using the shortcuts to zoom the Timeline.

But I'll let the devs know since these shortcuts really should work.

This was discussed here viewtopic.php?t=32536, and does work in 12.5, but looks like it is broke again.

I would love if we get faster shortcuts to zoom in the timeline like those we have to zoom on the viewport: shift +rightclick + drag, and also the mouse wheel.

I guess the mouse wheel shortcut could be hard to code if Moho doesn't know where the mouse is positioned at all times, but I suppose the shift+rightclick could work as Moho should know where we click.

I'm very used to it in the premiere, after effects and other programs that have a timeline, and the community here in Brazil always asks me too. My real interest is to change to a single key, like + and - for example. But it would also be interesting for some the option above, but solving this with keys is enough for me.

Thank you so much for your usual helpfulness, Greenlaw!

I think any major changes is going require an overhaul of Moho's GUI. That's probably not happening any time soon but I hope it comes eventually. :)

I was curious and tested some shortcuts. The shortcut to open Style didn't work for me either (ctrl + ]).
I don't have a chance to test them all, but it may be that some are lost.
