Exporting isn't working with my current project

Post by CodyBDrawin' »

Up until this point, I have had no problems with exporting animation, as .GIFs, video files, or anything else. Now though, with the current animation I'm working on, it's not exporting properly (as in not all of the allotted cores [or whatever the term is] are active) and the video can't be opened with the Windows 10 video app or opened in something like Movie Maker - VLC can open it, but the file is basically a stop motion animation due to how laggy and slow it is. I also saw, when I tried to export it as an H.265, it said my GPU wasn't supported and that an NVIDIA GPU is recommended (and I have one; I've also never seen this error before in past cases where I've exported it as such).

I haven't changed any of my hardware, and I was originally having this issue on Moho 13.5.3; I have since updated to 13.5.5 and the issue persists. I also don't run a huge amount of scripts or addons; my only plugins are minor quality-of-life tool improvements that I've used without issue for years, and on all projects leading up to this one without issue. I doubt that's the culprit, but I thought I would mention it just the same.

What I don't understand is the fact that I went back to the previous character/project I've worked on, exported that animation as an .MP4, and it exported and opened up perfectly fine and dandy. With all of the above in mind, I'm having a very difficult time wrapping my head around what's so troublesome with this one, and I would greatly appreciate some suggestions on what I can do to fix this (and what the problem actually is).

And lastly, and also most oddly, it's not the character I'm working on that's the problem, because I added her to my library, imported her into a document that I know exports correctly, and I exported just fine. That said, I still want to know what's wrong with my current file and how to go about fixing it if it's corrupted.

First thing to try would be my script to find and erase negative timeline keyframes: viewtopic.php?t=32714

Cheers. I'll give this a try. For now, I've been just editing my character in a document that I know works, though I do want to fix the original if possible.

Coming back to this - after having migrated my character to a new document, I tried to export the animation I made, but the error I had before returned. I tried running the script you linked, but it said there were no negative keyframes found in the negative timeline (no idea what that means).

What should I try next?

If you have references on your project, I would recomend to make sure they are not corrupted. With a safe version of your document, check if deleting the references makes a difference. If it does, you could have corrupted references. To solve that just delete them and create them again.
