Can not manage switch layers in animation, Debut version, working with png in layers.
Frame 0, have a switch layer with two arms, I can switch between them but the timeline turns red when I switch to arm number two (layer mode), on frame X I want to switch to arm two, but only the bones in arm two are showing, not the arm, and arm 1 is still visible. No new keyframe is created for the switched layer arm 2. The 2 arm layers on each side are flexi-bound before putting them in the switch layers, don't know if that was called for.
How can I fix that?
Maybe switch layers can't be used in Debut, but since I was able to get as far as above mentioned, I can't be shure. Also tried to exchange the arm entirely, before trying the switch method, using separate layer for arm 1 and 2, but couldn't make the selected layers stick to chosen keyframes.
Thinking about trying to attatch my own images to the bones in one of the example-characters, and access some features that way, but is that at all possible?

Re: Switch layer problem in Debut
1. Be on frame 1.
2. Make sure all layers inside the switch layer are visible.
3. Select the switch layer to see which inside layer is active. If you select a layer inside the switch, it will show you only this one, not the one which is selected by switch.

Re: Switch layer problem in Debut
Thank you for replying.
On frame one, only the active layer is visible (first layer within the switch).
How do I activate the second layer? I can switch within the switch layer but it doen't become active.

Re: Switch layer problem in Debut
It is in the manual:
- select the switch layer
- click it with right mouse button
- in the appearing pulldown, pick one of the sublayers.
A keyframe should appear in the timeline.
