Hello, new to Moho 13.5.5, starting with a simple 7-piece figure in a single vector layer,
movements working as expected with the associated bone layer skeleton,
successfully moving bones with their associated shapes in both bone and vector layer.
At some point the bones lost all connection with the shapes. Initially keeping the original shapes, I tried new bones with no connective success, restarting the app, searching through shape and bone options, no success. Still working with the original file, what did work was all new shapes and bones.
Did I inadvertantly select some option, while thrashing about with Moho, that broke the ability of the original shapes to pair with any bones?

A few things you can check...
When in doubt, I just reset my bones binding. In my experience it's usually easier to set the layers to a known default binding state than to spend a lot of time figuring out what got messed up and fixing it.
To reset layer binding, select the layers you want to reset (in this case you only have the one layer I guess,) and choose Bone > Reset All Bone Rigging. This will reset the binding to the default (regular) Flexi-binding mode. Note that this command will ONLY reset binding for the selected layers so you don't have to worry about losing the binding for other layers. (Exception: if you don't select any layers, Moho will assume you want to reset ALL layers, so be careful.)
Anyway that's all my guesses without seeing anything from your project. Hope this helps.
- Since you have everything in a single layer, maybe you unintentionally used Bind Layer on the layer? This will bind the entire layer to a single bone, so in effect 'disabling' the effect of all other bones in the layer.
- Do your bones still have strength? If you had all bones selected it's possible that you accidentally dialed their strengths to zero all at once.
- If you used Point Binding, make sure the points are still bound to their intended bones. You can tell their association by selecting the tool and looking at the point colors and their matching bone colors.
- This one might be too obvious: is the vector layer inside the Bone layer?

Re: Bones lose connection to shapes on single layer.
It was your first suggestion: 'bind layer'. Thank you.
