Updating Layers of Smart Bone Actions possible?

Hi,
I created smart bones for movement of an arm and later realised that the hand needs switch layers.

Now if i add switch layers by duplicating the hand and changing its points... It works well. But if i add any line to it, it does not move with smart bone action. The same happens if i add anything to a layer associated with a smart bone.

So i was wondering if there is any way in moho to update the artwork (add to it) so that it gets updated in smart bones actions as well??

Bump! Any clue for what could be done? Or even if it is possible... I m actually new so dont know ...

It's a little unclear what you're asking. When you say,,,

...how is the Smart Bone animating the line? Is it using another bone (i.e., a 'hand' bone) to move the line or is it using point animation? If you expect the line to be moved by a bone, then I suspect a binding issue. But if it's point animation, the points needs to be animated inside the Smart Bone Action for it to be moved by the Smart Bone Action.

Uploading an example project or images will help clarify what the issue is.

Thanks @greenlaw for the help

The issue was if i create a smart bone action
for an arm and later want to make additions to the arm's look (lets say i added a wrinkle on the skin), then that additions was not animating with the smart bone action.
It turned out that it was a point binding issue, i binded the new addition points to the bone and it works fine now.
