Vectors get messed up on Frame 0

Post by JoelMayer »

Hi

I have a weird problem...

I did some smart actions on frame 0 as usual. To test it out, i used the manipulate bone tool also on frame 0 to wiggle the leg around, as you can see. For some reason, when going back to the select bone tool, which usually resets everything, the vector in the leg gets all messed up. I have no idea why, i've never seen that happen on frame 0, i thought there you couldn't really break anything.

Another, unrelated problem: even though i've selected "Linear" as default interpolation mode in the timeline window, Moho keeps adding "Smooth" keyframes which is pretty annoying because sometimes i don't realize this and then my easings get all messed up.

If anyone wants to look at the file, it can be found here:

Thanks!

EDIT: Same appears to be happening to the nose when wiggling it around...

The "keyframe" issue: it's a display bug!? try left click on the keyframe and it should show the linear keyframe icon. (at least it does here!)

The frame 0 thing: that looks like another display bug -- left click on the timeline cursor (near the "0") and the leg vector redraws itself properly.

If you're happy for me to share your shared file, I'll log a bug report for those.

also, (probably unrelated, and apologies if you know this and it's WIP) the action B6 has a smooth interp on keyframe 0; B6 doesn't have a smart action for rotations forward (from (loosely) 90 to 180); nor does body B2 for bend backwards

Thanks for your help! Yea seems to be a bug. Feel free to share the file of course if it helps!

Thanks for the hints, i already adjusted everything to linear now but i'll look into the other stuff you mentioned.
