Have you tried SimplSam's SVG importer for Moho? Don't know about gradients but it's a more advanced importer...

Hmm...no, I just read in the docs that one of its limitations is that it flattens grads to a single color. Oh, well, it's still a more accurate importer so if you need SVG and use it regularly, you should probably install it.

yeah - I tried Sam's tool (it's VERY good and way better than the native one!!!) before before I posted ... and I still can't find list of the "you can't import svgs that have <that> feature"

Thanks Dennis, but it was the moho manual I was thinking of that (I thought) listed the limitations of (native) svg import, not Sam's excellent tool (which imports "complex" shapes far more reliably than the factory one)
