Pen Tablet Problem

Post by cribble »

Hi

My pen tablet is playing up. I have a Wacom Graphire 3 and pretty much most ofthe time i touch the nib of the pen on the table, to do a click, it turns into a drag function. Is it the tablet? the pen? can it get a replacement pen?

Oh boy... you are lucky.

I have the exact same model and mine just started REALLY going crazy.

The mouse has a "bad" spot and will click 3 or 4 times... or "unclick" half way through a drag... or not click at all.

My pen works fine but the eraser tip gets "stuck". I can't use it because it won't "let go" after I lift it from the pad.

I have had mine for a while and use it constantly... so maybe they just don't last for more than a year... or two... or maybe... I spilled coffee on it...

I bet you could get a new pen... I need a new mouse for it... I had to peal that... thing off the bottom.... and I blow air through the mouse and "bang" it on the table and it works for a while... then it will act up again.

It could be there is a piece of dust or... as in my case... food stuck in the pen? Just guessing.

Sorted it out, i got really pissed off and threw it... at a pillow. And it works fine. Found the fattest bread crum ever, though having said that - the buttons on the pen are becoming abit reluctant to work now and again.

In conclusion, food and pen tablets don't mix well. Keep the food in the kitchen and the pen tablet by your pc.
