I made some camera moves and they now need edits. How do I select the camera so I can view it in the timeline?
It seems a very simple thing to do yet I looked up numerous tutorials and I cannot figure this out.
Any ideas on how I can do this??
Thanks in advance!
Channels appear depending on how you've set their visibility in View / TimeLine Channels (they can on all the time; off all the time or on only if there are keyframes.) Make sure the camera channel you want is set to be visible.
there's a maximum number of layers you can see in the timeline. That's set in Edit / Preferences / Timeline. If you've exceeded that maximum, deselect a few layers. If not ...
If you can't see the camera channels (there are four - translation, zoom, roll, pan-tilt) scroll the timeline window down.
as you're in Motion Graph view, find the camera channel you want and double click its icon. You'll get a number of sub-channels depending on which tool you've chosen (3,1,1,2 for translation, zoom, roll, pan-tilt respectively).
SimplSam: I was hoping it wasn't "User Error"..ugh..but happy that you found it and pointed that out. Hayasidist: In the meantime, I was applying the steps noted by Hayasidist [see below] and it was working great. Thank you for showing me this whole panel!!
Thanks for the help, guys! It is greatly appreciated it!
