How does sending usage information to Lost Marble work?

Hi, I really want to help Moho to get the most of the user usage. I see the option that ask to allow sending information for developing the software. However, I always leave the option uncheck because I worry that I might slow down Moho while animation since it may need to gather the information and send while working. I wonder if anyone can tell me how this option works, and is it going to slow down Moho while animating because I pc is pretty old, not a new one. Thank you.

I'm curious about this too.

I have this option enabled because I imagined it only sends data when I quit Moho or otherwise periodically, and it probably isn't sending data constantly as I work. It would be good to know for sure, though.

from the user manual:

"Allow sending analytics information to Lost Marble: When this option is checked, Moho will send hardware information and feature usage statistics to Lost Marble. Analytics will not be sent until after the application has been properly activated/serialized."

Personally I would imagine that this would be infrequent - at best.
