My First Flash Website

Post by bupaje »

Hey Guys. My first flash site - a homework assignment. I started a much more complex one with animated character but with the deadline approaching and me still stuck on some actionscripting I decided I'd better hammer out a more basic site.

Basic is good. I am still debating with myself if I want to add a new learning curve and improve my website.
I really like the interactive way your site works- all done with flash?

The http://portfolio.stormvisions.com/ site is flash but my regular stormvisions.com site is not. I am using a free CMS called websitebaker for that. http://www.websitebaker.com

I sent you a couple messages via yahoo messenger but got no response. If you still have questions I'll have Yahoo Messenger running when I am online. Next 3 days will be looney -final projects of the semester due- but if you just have quick questions to guide you along I'll try to help.

If you have Yahoo Webhosting plan then you might consider looking at websitebaker. Yahoo already has phpNuke setup -you can activate from the AddOns section (assuming you have same plan as I do) but it is heavier and less beginner friendly than websitebaker in my opinion. There may be even simpler ones -with less features- if all you want is a few basic pages. A good place to explore these is at http://opensourcecms.com/ click on the Portals (CMS) link and you can test drive some and also see what users say.

Sorry for the delay. I have purchased FrontPage2003 and now I am in learning curve mode. It seems to work with my yahoo web hosting. Thanks for your time and concern...

Cool. Haven't used FP with Yahoo but should be great.
