Turn text into vectors?

Post by NealF »

I'm trying to create squiggle text.
I remember seeing a way to turn the text into vectors so that you can then use line boil or animate the lines.

I've used several search terms here but nothing comes up.
Can't even find it on a Google search.

Is it possible? Or did I imagine it?

Thanks.

Yeah, it's easy! Just right-click on the Text layer and choose Convert To Vector. :D

Tip: I like to make a duplicate of the Text layer first, and hide it, as a backup. This is helpful if I decide to change the text later, or need to add more text elements using the same settings.
