2 Monitors

Post by slowtiger »

One of the advantages of having 2 monitors (or, in my case, the luxury of 2 machines side by side) is, that on one I have a multiplane setup in Moho open, done with just sketches, and on the other the very same sketch open in TVPaint so I can adjust and position parts in a way which makes the most of the multiplane camera work (and avoids any unnecessary drawing work). No painfully slow back-and-forth try and error.

I'm not sure I'm understanding the advantage you describe.

Are you saying that as you make changes to the sketches in TVPaint, and save the sketches, the changes are updated in the active Moho file?

Yes, it could work that way - works with any bitmap imported to Moho, not only PSD files. Sometimes Moho doesn't get it, just close and re-open the project file.

I see what you mean now.

I hadn't thought about using a second monitor to make live changes. Next time I do parallax scrolling, I'll try it. Parallax scrolling always takes me a long time. Thanks for the tip.
