windows 11, windows ink, wacom tablets

Post by cyclearrows »

Hi everyone,

when I deactivate windows ink in my wacom tablet settings the pressure sensitivity is not working in Moho anymore.
Does anyone have a solution for this problem?
Using windows ink is not a solution for me because it messes up the functionality of Windows.

I had the same issue in Photoshop some years ago and the solution was to put a setting file in the photoshop directory.

Are you using Moho 13.5 or earlier, and Is the problem related to right-clicking? I don't know if this will help in your situation but try this:

In your Windows settings, go to Bluetooth & Devices > Pen & Windows Ink settings. In that window, toggle open the tab Advanced Settings, and deactivate Use The Pen As A Right-Click Equivalent When It's Available. This should allow you to enable Windows Ink to get pressure back in Moho, and it may fix the right-click problem. This worked for me when I was still using 13.5. Tip: In your Wacom Settings, you can create a settings for Moho so Windows Ink is on for Moho but off for other programs.

In Moho 14 and up, it is not necessary to deactivate the right-click option.

Hope this helps.

May I ask which Windows functionality is being affected on your system? I use a Wacom tablet with Moho and Windows Ink active, and haven't seen any problems in quite a long time. I was wondering if it's an issue I just haven't noticed yet.

Thanks for your quick reply.
I think I was misunderstood. My problem is that using Windows Ink delays my work management in general, as just moving windows alone is a pain. I have already tried many solutions I found on the web, unfortunately nothing would help.
I found a workaround for Adobe Photoshop years ago, which allows me to use pressure sensitivity in Photoshop while disabling Windows Ink. There is nothing so far which allows me to draw with pressure sensitivity in MOHO while disabling Windows Ink.
Does anyone have a config file that works the way as the one I have in Adobe Photoshop or any other workaround?
Help would be truly appreciated, as I am a fond user of MOHO.
