Hello everyone, after several years of 2D hiatus, mostly doing 3D work, I just wanted to say that I am back using Moho, I actually had to watch some of my old Moho tutorial!
I look forward to interacting with all of you again, I will post new work here and on my YouTube channel very soon!
What a neat coincidence. This morning, I told my partner I wanted to get back into scripting next year. Then I recalled your blog posts from way back when, and wondered if I should search for them today as a quick refresher.
I spent the last couple of weeks looking at other 2D rigging software, including Harmony and Grease pencil, and I must say that Moho is still the best at rigging and cut-out, learning 14 right now, the interface is still pretty much the same, not sure if it's a good or a bad thing, but it got some very cool features in the last 8 years, working on a 2D project and I want to use cut-out, so here I am!
I think the more you work with Moho 14.2, the more you'll appreciate what's changed. It might not seem obvious at first, but Moho has come a long way in recent years. 14.2 is more powerful and usable than even version 12.5, which was a very solid release.

Last version I used was 10 or 11, I am not sure, so yeah, a lot more was added, I only wish that Moho was still available for Linux, not a fan of Winblows !
Yeah, we moved from St-Donat to the Laurentians (Ste-Agathe-des-Monts) a little over 5 years ago, I put in Montreal because most people never heard of the Laurentians, let alone Ste-Agathe-des-Monts, and since I was born in Montreal, and since it's only about an hour away, I thought it would make more sense to put Montreal in my bio !
Glad to see that so many of the old guard are still alive and kicking!
Well, I am working on a 2D comeback, 3D is all good and fine, pays the bills, but I was always a 2D animator at heart, so I decided to produce a web series, and the only way I can do that on my own is by using Moho, so here I am!
